Ruth Johnstone

Ruth Johnstone’s White Library presents a tabula rasa—literally, blank tablets—as repositories of future information or a lost body of knowledge, miniaturized and compacted. The micro-installation, housed to its own minute scale amongst the library shelves, offers reflection on the compression of knowledge as well as the written word and the function of a library in the digital age.
