Craft Aboriginal Projects presents a new series of work from some of Victoria’s leading Aboriginal artists and craftspeople.
Established with the support of Creative Victoria, this series celebrates the impressive tradition of skill and creativity that exists within the Koorie community. Featuring Craft’s collaboration with Baluk Arts and Melbourne ceramicist Ingrid Tufts, as well as the work of artist Peter Waples-Crowe (Ngarigo), this exhibition looks at the way we tell stories and our connections to country and identity.
Bringing together over 30 new works by Victorian Aboriginal artists, this exhibition encompasses ceramics alongside jewellery, weaving and digital prints.
