Nite Art Art across Melbourne
Recentre; sisters presents the work of eight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women artists: Paola Balla, Hannah Bronte, Tara-Rose Butterworth-Gonebale, Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Destiny Deacon, Lee Darroch, Hannah Gutchen and Kimba Thompson. They bring together new and existing work that voice Aboriginal women’s roles in activism, healthy communities and cultural maintenance, centring Matriarchal narratives and celebrating sisterhood.
